Ampol Overlander Roadhouse
Great place to stop while we were travelling up to Carnarvon. Toilets were clean and fresh, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and overall a very refreshing pits top.Of note, the food was fantastic. The homemade sausage rolls were amazing (possibly 2nd only to the ones we’ve eaten at Eucla) and the fresh/cold selection was great.

Excellent overnight stay! Accomodation was perfectly clean and comfortable had everything we needed. Have stayed at another nearby roadhouse and The Overlander was far better. Food at the cafe was really good with healthy choices ( fish and vegetables! ) Excellent pizza. Overall a very clean and well managed place with brilliant staff. Will definitely stay again , thank you !

Clean and presentable, the shop has good variety. Ate what was honestly the best sandwich I've ever had here, it's like they buttered the bread with cheese and toasted it. Very tasty!

Ampol Overlander Roadhouse
We stayed here overnight in the Roadhouse’s free camping area. It is a large, level dirt paddock to the back of the service station. There are public toilets (the same as the petrol station) for free campers. There is also paid-for showers. There are limited powered sites and accommodation.The roadhouse serves meals which were good and reasonably priced.The roadhouse and toilets have ramps but I didn’t see a separate wheelchair friendly toilet.

We stayed in a family cabin with ensuite. Basic but very clean and convenient with soft fluffy towels and comfortable beds. As per pics on website. Verandah with table and chairs out front. Very helpful service when we had an issue with the kettle in our room, sorted in minutes. Menu looked great and well stocked roadhouse. Would have loved to try the huge homemade sausage rolls!

Great spot, great service. Clean and good priced. We camped free out the back and purchased our fuel and meals here to support them. Mobile coverage too.

The best sausage roll I've ever eaten (even better than the ones I make at home). I usually don't buy sausage rolls anymore because they are always bland and full of regret, but couldn't resist. Ended up eating 2!

Excellent overnight stay just as we did last year . Clean , comfortable rooms with strong telstra signal. Basic but perfect to break up the trip. Nice hot shower ,clean tidy rooms , friendly staff . Look forward to next year
